Type of coverage |
- Contract with the employee
- Monthly premiums paid by the employer or by employee

Who can be covered? |
- The employee, their partner and dependent children
- The employee can be any age
- Partner must be aged 65 or under at the time of joining
- Children covered up to the annual limit and to 18th birthday (or 21st birthday if they are in full time education)
- Each child has their own individual benefit entitlement

Cost of cover |
- Monthly premiums (rates available on request)
- Premiums are based on level of cover chosen
- Employee premiums are collected by the employer, deducted from the employee’s monthly pay

What is not covered? |
- Benefit will not be paid if:
- The date of treatment or accident occurs prior to the date the policy starts or after the date the policy ceases
- Treatment, purchases or accidents occur outside the UK
- Treatment is provided by the employee’s immediate family
- Treatment is needed due to dangerous activities and sports or self-inflicted injuries
- Complementary and alternative therapies or chiropody treatments are arranged, paid or facilitated through the employer or by another employee
- The employee is breaking the Terms and Conditions of their policy

Changing cover |
- Cover level can be either increased or decreased following a specified lifestyle event (e.g. marriage or birth of a child) or during annual enrolment
|
Rate guarantee |
- Rates are guaranteed for two years
- Terms can be reviewed and amended if there is a significant change to the employer’s business
|
Automatic renewal |
- Employee choices will automatically renew each year, ensuring continuous cover
|
